# How to allow a non Administrator Role to Override Locked Segment?

**Your software**  
My Mautic version is: v2.16.2-5  
My PHP version is: 7.2.28

**Your problem**  
My problem is:  
I created a Role let’s call it “R1” with the following “Contact permissions”

- Contacts - User has access to : Full
- Segments - User has access to: Full
- Import - User has access to: View

When user “U1” having role “R1” edit a segment “S1”, user “U2” having role “R1” can not override the locked segment S1.  
Only a user having “Administrator” role can override the locked segment “S1”.

Is there a way to give the ability to users having role “R1” to override locked segment edited by others ?
