# How to change Modal Form fields distance?

**Your software**  
My Mautic version is: 3.2.5  
My PHP version is: php 7-3  
My Database type and version is: Mariadb 10.4

**Your problem**  
My problem is: How can I make the distance between the form fields bigger in a Modal?

These errors are showing in the log:  
No errors

Steps I have tried to fix the problem:  
Read every page on the internet about this.  
Took basic HTML course. Took basic CSS course.  
Checked Lightfeuer docs  
Checked Chris Calabro, Kevin Rundle and Cactus Automation video about Form design.  
Poked around in the Mautic core code, and form attributes.  
Nothing.

How can I make the distance between the form fields bigger in a Modal?

No. I ended up copying the HTML code into the modal. Works great 🙂
