# How to Configure Gmail SMTP server?

I have configured with [smtp.gmail.com](http://smtp.gmail.com). It’s working fine. But i need to change send from emailer address at [marketing@mydomain.com](mailto:marketing@mydomain.com). Is it possible to change?

no, You need to purchase google apps plan for that. If you want to send emails as you said go for mandrill, first 12,000 mails are free.

Mandrill is now a plug-in for mailchimp.
