# How to send only text emails?

Hi, i’m new to Mautic, and trying to send emails from my account.
I’ve added text under the Advanced option, without editing the contents of HTML version via Builder. However, the plain text content is not appearing & I can only see the contents of the HTML email.
I want to be able to send ONLY text emails using Mautic. How can I do that?
Any help would be great. Thanks

Thanks @aspiers. I’m trying to perform the instructions as seen in this thread here - [https://github.com/mautic/mautic/issues/7703](https://github.com/mautic/mautic/issues/7703) but my mautic builder gets stuck as soon as i click on ‘Apply’ or ‘Close Builder’. Can you suggest what can i do here? Thanks

I’m not sure what instructions you are referring to since #7703 only reports the problem and does not provide a fix. [https://github.com/mautic/mautic/pull/7842](https://github.com/mautic/mautic/pull/7842) was a proposed fix but apparently has some issues. If you need this urgently I suggest paying a developer to finish off the fix.
