# I cant update from 4.3.1 to 4.4.0 - Switching to Composer

**Your software**  
_My PHP version is_ : 7.4.27  
_My MySQL/MariaDB version is_ (delete as applicable): mysql Ver 15.1 Distrib 10.3.30-MariaDB

**Updating/Installing Errors**  
_I am_ UpdatingTrying via Web first then Command line, none of them seems to work, via Web the process hans, via command line apparently was successful but after completing the process I receive 403 error forbiden

_These errors are showing in the installer_ : hangs (web) / 403 forbidden (command line)

**Your problem**  
_My problem is_ : I try to switch to composer.  
First I checked my composer version via composer --version command:

Then I run the command composer create-project mautic/recommended-project:^4 html-new --no-interaction:

Anyone can help me please.  
I’m not an expert tech.Thank you in advance
