# I have many leads without email in my db

My Mautic version is: 5.0.4  
My PHP version is: 8.1.28  
My Database type and version is: 10.11.8-MariaDB-0ubuntu0.24.04.1

My problem is: I was looking at my db and noticed I have many rows in the leads table where the email field is null. I was thinking of deleting them but then I thought perhaps there’s a valid reason for this… does anyone have any idea of this?
