# I need feeback on your point of view about "what is Mautic"

Given that

- a “funnel” is a process to push potencial leads into leads and then into real transactions.
- an “automation” is a mechanism to remove human intervention

although they are “strongly connected” really they are 2 different concepts. One could have a funnel done 100% manually and with no automation and one could have an automation to automate other things than funnels.

**I want to figure out if you guys feel that:**

OPTION A) Mautic is a “tool to make funnels”  
OPTION B) Mautic is a “tool to make automations”

What option reflects better what is Mautic for you?

I would say option B, it better describes Mautic in my opinion.
