# If you upload a sheet and forget to map the email address, can that skew your segments?

I think I may have uploaded a list that did not include email addresses and maybe that is why my database that shows only 1 record (as it should) actually shows 200 contacts in some of my segment counts., but show nothing when you drill down into them.
What database table can I go to to delete these records if that be the case? Also, if that was the reason for all of this, can we develop a solution to prevent an upload without email addresses mapped?
