# Image not saved in the builder?

Hi, I’m stil in Mautic v4.0.1 bu will migrate soon 🙂 ( PHP Version 7.4.19, Database 10.5.15-MariaDB-log)

I was wondering why images were never really stored or saved here ?  
I think it’s the point of this feature here.

Like, If I import an image like a logo for he footer + the header. Let’s say I want to insert this image again, I don’t have this image saved.

I do have some images, but they are old or belong to a previous version of Mautic.

Is this a bug or a feature ? 🙂

Hi @zwf,

I wanted to double-check before assisting you, so I just tested this on both Mautic versions 5 and 4.4. In both versions, the images are saved correctly and added to the media library, allowing you to use them in different emails. I believe your issue might be related to missing permissions. Could you please check your instance’s error log for any clues?
