**Your software**
My Mautic version is: 5.1.1
My PHP version is: 8.1.28
My Database type and version is: 10.6.18-MariaDB-0ubuntu0.22.04.1

**Your problem**

- My problem is:

1. I let Mautic to track the website for a few months
2. I imported the first contacts
3. Sent a few emails
4. I thought Mautic would merge tracked contacts with users who clicked the email (by the website cookie data), but it doesn’t identify them.

Why? Mautic has all the info needed to identify them 🤷‍♂️

- What I tried to fix:
Everything should be set correctly

1. The email is the unique identifier (I have two unique identifiers (Email and ID) with Contact Merge Settings set to “OR”)
2. It is publicly editable

[https://docs.mautic.org/en/5.x/contacts/manage\_contacts.html#managing-duplicates](https://docs.mautic.org/en/5.x/contacts/manage_contacts.html#managing-duplicates)

I also checked this thread where is it written it should work, but it doesn’t.

> Hi, Greetings of the day, Could someone please explain how a plugin bundle works, including the flow of data within the bundle, i.e., the process of transferring data from one file to another? Thanks for your Consideration, Pranay kumar.
