# Install Mautic 4 from scratch, on Ubuntu 18.04 or Ubuntu 20.04 server failed

**Your software**  
_My PHP version is_ :  
_My MySQL/MariaDB version is_ (delete as applicable): MySQL/MariaDB version

**Updating/Installing Errors**  
_I am_ (delete as applicable): Installing / Updating  
_Upgrading/installing via_ (delete as applicable) : Web / Command Line

_These errors are showing in the installer_ :

_These errors are showing in the Mautic log_ :

**Your problem**  
_My problem is_ : Why when install Mautic 4 every installation dont work ? Every time 404 error on page when try to connect on. Someone have full instruction that work ?

_Steps I have tried to fix the problem_ :

is this a fresh install ?

is it showing a database error on webpage ?

Can you see anything in your logs ? Is the database setup ?
