# Installer fails after step 1 (install with composer)

**Your software**  
My Mautic version is: 4  
My PHP version is: 7.4  
My Database type and version is: MySQL 5.6

**Your problem**  
My problem is: Fatal error when validating step 1 of graphical install

These errors are showing in the log:

mautic.ERROR: Symfony\Component\Debug\Exception\FatalErrorException: Notice: require(): Failed opening required ‘/src/docroot/var/cache/prod/ContainerLMWVlCW/getSwiftmailer\_EmailSender\_ListenerService.php’ (include\_path=’.:/usr/local/lib/php:/src/misc’) - in file /src/docroot/var/cache/prod/ContainerLMWVlCW/appAppKernelProdContainer.php - at line 2226

Steps I have tried to fix the problem:

- populate cache with cli
- check permissions
