# Interfacing with amazon ses question.

Is anyone familiar with using amazon ses input in the mautic email settings? I am designating amazon ses east and putting in my root username and password, but it is being rejected. Did I miss something in the setup for amazon that’s causing this problem? Thanks, RVG

check if your amazon ses still in sandbox or check if the amazon ports are block.

I was able to graduate from sandbox and also requested and receive a limit increase to 50K from amazon ses. How do I check if the amazon ports are blocked? Thanks, RVG
