# IP autofill Country Question

**Your software**  
My Mautic version is: 4.4.6  
My PHP version is: 7.4  
My Database type and version is: mariadb 10.5

**Your problem**  
My problem is:  
We have a German partner, who has a client with Dutch IP (Amazon) according to Maxmind.  
When the contact is added, and opens email first time, their location is changed to the Netherlands.  
Can we somehow prohibit autofilling the Country?

These errors are showing in the log:  
No errors

Audot log (This is the first time this partner gets a country value after an email open)

Steps I have tried to fix the problem:  
Looked in docs. No luck.

You could try that to test it out at least, this sounds peculiar though
