# Is there a clean way to manually import Contacts etc. via PhpMyAdmin?

Thanks @mzagmajster.

The smooth [CSV import in Mautic doesn’t work](https://forum.mautic.org/t/csv-imports-fail-stalling-in-progress-runtime-less-than-1-second/25199/9) and it will probably take me weeks to figure out how to fix it. I need a way to keep my business going; this should do it. 🙂
