# Is there a way to automatically export Contacts to an external folder via sftp?

There are a few CRM systems that don’t provide API access. One of these is “Slate” (big in higher ed). Slates preferred method of importing contacts from an external source is through SFTP. Such as a nightly dump into folder that Slate provides access to.

Has anyone done something similar? Thanks!

I do not think mautic has that option, but I believe custom plugin can be created for this.
