# Isses with Images

**Your software**  
My Mautic version is: 3.0.2  
My PHP version is: 7.2.33

**Your problem**  
My problem is: Inserting images has a strange issue. Remote images are not recognized. Uploaded images are strangely renamed.

These errors are showing in the log: N/A.

Steps I have tried to fix the problem: The issue occurs both in email and landing page.

Do you care to show a screenshot or what you were expecting the image/name to look like, and what you saw?

Hi @devsrealm, thanks for your reply. Of course, I’ll add two gifs as per my original post:

Scenario One:  
Image replacement does not work.

Scenario Two:  
The image uploaded is renamed.

It’s possible my install is faulty otherwise everyone would be experiencing the same events. Just my guess.

I see you are using the newest version, did that error occur on ver 3.0.1?

@devsrealm, apologies for the delay. I am not certain if it was an issue with 3.0.1. I am currently ok as I am still running the v2 on another server.
