# LinkedIn Plugin error

Hi, I tried to set up the LinkedIn plugin. I set up an app on LinkedIn. However, I get this error when authorizing the app:

From: [https://xxx.xxxxxxxxxxxx.de/plugins/integrations/authstatus/LinkedIn](https://xxx.xxxxxxxxxxxx.de/plugins/integrations/authstatus/LinkedIn))

Authorisation failed with the error message, 'Client error: `POST https://www.linkedin.com/uas/oauth2/accessToken` resulted in a `400 Bad Request` response: {“error”:“invalid\_request”,“error\_description”:“A required parameter "code" is missing”} ’

Can someone tell me from experience what I could have done wrong?

Before you spend a lot of time debugging: the linkedin app will only allow you to have a linkedin login button, that prefills name and email of a person after logging in into linkedin.

Hi. Thank you very much! I would like to automatically import LinkedIn contacts into Mautic. I thought that might be possible with the plugin. Do you know a plugin that does this? Thanks very much!
