# Loading jQuery & Scripts

It’s good practice to load sharing buttons on the landing page so that visitors can share the page but I’m having trouble loading both jquery and any other scripts such as addthis, I just cannot get them working without them affecting mtc.js or loading properly.  
  
  
  
I’ve added the scripts in the template before the tag but they don’t load.  
  
  
  
Is jQuery already loaded, if so, how do I access the object in the DOM?  
  
  
  
How can we integrate scripts without these errors occurring?
