# Lots of trouble since updating--can't login

Yesterday updated to 1.4 and emails disappeared. Didn’t have time yesterday so today, I went in and cleared the app/cache/prod and now I can’t login at all. Get this error: Fatal error: Can’t use method return value in write context in /home1/wolf/public\_html/mautic/app/bundles/DashboardBundle/Views/Widget/detail.html.php on line 11
A Google and Github search did not turn up the error. Thanks for any help.

Mautic probably doesn’t have file permissions to generate new cache.
