# Mail translations in campaigns ignored?

**Your software**  
My Mautic version is: 4.4.x  
My PHP version is: not relevant  
My Database type and version is: not relevant

**Your problem**  
My problem is:

We build a multi language campaign. We created mails, that have several translations.  
I would think, that based on the “preferred local” of the user, the language version of the mail will be send. If there is no match, the main mail should be send.

However, in the campaign action I need to select a language version explicitely. Is this correct?  
This would mean I need to check for each single mail explicitely, what the preferred language is?
