# Manual Trigger of Auto Update

I’m running self hosted 1.4.1, but I don’t see a notification to update to the latest version. It’s possible I cleared this by mistake.
I’ve seen some posts describing how to manually update, but I’m wondering if there is another way to trigger the automatic update, besides the notification window? Like a Check for Updates option somewhere?
