# Marking an Email Urgent

**Your software**  
My Mautic version is: v3.1.2  
My PHP version is: 7.3.27  
My Database type and version is: mysqlnd 5.0.12-dev

**Your problem**  
My problem is: Is there a way to mark an outgoing email as URGENT?

Hi, email infrastructure doesn’t let you set this up, PLUS only few email readers support it, like Outlook for example. Gmail is using it’s own algorythm for deciding which email is urgent. Just imagine: all spammers would set all emails urgent. 🙂
