# Mautic 7 Cache Clear: Why Is It So Fast and Silent?

Hello,

In Mautic 7.0.1, the `cache:clear` command runs almost instantly with no feedback. Does it still actually clear the cache, or is something missing compared to Mautic 6.0.2 where it gave a success message? Nothing is reported in the log files either.

I’m not convinced it is clearing the caches ?

Is anyone else experiencing this problem on M7.0.1 ?

Hello,

The clear cache command in Mautic 7.0.1 does not clear the prod cache folder !  
All files and folders under prod remain intact after using the command.

Looks like you have to manually clear the cache from Mautic 7.x onwards or is it a know bug ?
