Here is some cases:

1. You want to “own” your “leads” ( but yet want to use some of the unique features autopilot offers )
2. Save money on autopilot ( cheapest autopilot plan 1000 leads ). ( so could onboard your leads with autopilot and them transfer to mautic )

Guys AutoPilot is the competition of Mautic and you want to integrate with Mautic that don’t make sense.

Why you don’t just make a Feature Request and see if it gets done in a next release.

I think my work around would be have them work together and then consolidate the leads down the line.  
You could “embed” Moutic into external website form correct?
