# Mautic Bounce Handling Issue with Mautic 6.0.6 and AWS SES + AWS SNS

**Your software**  
My Mautic version is: 6.0.6  
My PHP version is: 8.2  
My Database type and version is: 15.1 MariaDB

**Your problem**  
My problem is:

We have installed Mautic v6.0.6 on a Contabo VPS (Ubuntu 24.04).  
AWS SES has been configured successfully for sending emails, and AWS SNS has also been set up for bounce notifications.

However, the bounce tracking is not working — bounced emails are not being marked as “Bounced” in Mautic, nor are they moving into the Bounced Email segment.

are you using API or bounced emails to capture your bounces on mautic?

When you set up SNS - is the link ‘live’ ? (confirmed?)

Its working with AWS SES API
