# Mautic installation on server

I downloaded mautic package from [Download - Mautic Community](https://www.mautic.org/download) and was able to set up locally but same folder when I uploaded to my server does not show installer steps and shows 404.

Hi,

try installing mautic via command line, its more reliable anyway.

Also you might want to adjust your apache/nginx config if you are planning to run mautic from the subfolder.
