# mautic.net upgrade -\> missing contacts

Ok, so every couple of days I log in my (free) [mautic.net](http://mautic.net).  
  
This morning I got a friendly “_updating your mautic_” message. Fine… but:  
  
  
  
I looks like **since Sept 19 to today (the update) no contacts were stored**. It started collecting contacts again.  
  
This is already the second time this happened.  
  
  
  
I _was_ seriously considering upgrading to a paid version, but this is not the way to persuade me.  
  
  
  
Anyone else seen this happening on free accounts? Any better on paid accounts?

Unfortunately you can’t upgrade anymore to the old pro version that costed $12/month.

According to [Mautic](https://mautic.com/blog/introducing-mautic-cloud-free-and-pro/) the Cloud Pro (which is the hosted version of Mautic) will start from few hundreds dollars a month.

At 12$/month i believe it’s a steal for what you get, at few hundred dollars a month you better look at activecampaign
