Mautic is injecting tons of spammy ad code into my emails! This is Mautic straight out of the box, downloaded from the official website! No wonder why Gmail is clipping the emails! Check this out! This is only a small fraction of the code. I tried to include all of it, but the website kept saying “saving” for an hour, and it’s still “saving.”

No. All the browsers are doing this, even the ones with no ad blockers. No matter what I do, Gmail “clips” the email at zero words and provides a link to read the email in a browser. The emails are just loaded with probably well over 100kb of code. It’s not browser extensions. Who would produce a marketing automation tool that allows browser apps to do that to emails anyway? That would require a warning next to the Mautic download link so that people know what they’re getting into before choosing Mautic. “Warning: Severe headaches and countless wasted hours on troubleshooting ahead. I would be really worried if it’s the not Adblock, cause this code you inserted is not coming from Mautic.
It’s not the marketing automation tool, that injects the code, it is your browser or another software running on your computer. Maybe without your knowledge? I think it’s great, that Mautic revealed what is really happening on your computer, now you can do something against it.

OK. I think I have four Mautic installations now. Only one had that problem. Weird. All different versions of Mautic 3.
