# Mautic Submitting is Different on same form.

I have a a form that I created, and have it placed (via a shortcode) and it submits differently in both cases - however everything is exactly the same. Can someone help me work out why?

You might want to check out the css attached to your shortcodes, especially if the shortcode you’ve used creates a div. If it does it will likely have styles attached to the div. I’d start my search there. Any styling on the Mautic form is probably best left to style overrides on the form itself.

Hi Tony,

Everything is set up exactly the same way, no div’s or special styling from both the theme or inline.

Very weird!
