# Maxmind update usage tutorial anywhere

but a couple of commands simply don’t produce the desired data on a Centos 7 server. The tutorial is written for ubuntu.
I’m looking for an insight on how to setup MaxMind on a Centos 7 server - it seems that a lot of web services conflate the many different MaxMind sets of data into the generic term “MaxMind” without specifically identifying _which_ of the many MaxMind dataset(s) they are referring to.
1. Does a Mautic install now require a license key or;
2. a username:password combination as per the configuration form?
3. where are the directories/files for this service stored on a standard Mautic install?
I can’t find any reference to geoip in any subdirectory of Mautic.

I’ve temporarily disabled lookups until I can upgrade and the upgrade process is a real headache even though just going from 2.16.0 to 2.16.2. Once I solve that issue, I will do the MaxMind issue. Thank you.
