# Media manager is restricting the file type to upload, how to config that?

My Mautic version is: v3.2.4  
My PHP version is: 7.3.26  
My Database type and version is:

**Your problem**  
My problem is: media manager media manager is restricting the file type to upload

These errors are showing in the log: none errors appear in gui:

The following message appear when I tried to upload a .ico and .svg files:  
Unable to upload “favicon.ico”.  
File type not allowed. (image/x-icon)

Unable to upload “safari-pinned-tab.svg”.  
File type not allowed.  
(image/svg+xml)

where can I configure the files media manager allow

Steps I have tried to fix the problem: none

How to replicate the error:

1. create a landing page
2. click in the builder button
3. click in the media manager button
4. try to upload an .svg file

How/ where can I configure which files are allowed to be uploaded in file Manager/ media manager?
