# My email ends up in spam

For many years, it was acceptable for companies to use PHP for their email campaigns and contact forms, but there was a problem: It became easy for hackers to intercept transferred mail, so email hosting companies like Gmail and Yahoo started blocking transmissions using PHP mail. The result was business owners’ deliverability rates plummeted.

You need a real Email Service Provider or a meticulously and expertly maintained email server of your own to even begin to have acceptable delivery rates. That supposes you have read, planned and accomplished the things posted here including the ongoing best practices.

Email is no longer the so-cheap-its-almost-free solution to reach cold prospects. (the definition of spam) I cannot stress that enough.

Im sorry friend, but right now your emails are the same plight as sperm. You may be able to send billions to its intended destination but you are lucky if one actually arrives.
