# Page Hits Tracking Not Working - Have Tracking Pixel Installed

**Your software**  
My Mautic version is: v5.2.0  
My PHP version is: 8.3  
My Database type and version is: MariaDB 10.11.10

**Your problem**  
My problem is: I upgraded to Mautic v5.2.0 and for some reason my “page hit” tracking isn’t working properly. I think this was an issue before I upgraded too. This used to work so I’m not sure what is causing this issue.

I have the Mautic tracking pixel saved in my footer so it gets run on all pages. I’m using the Mautic API to add contacts to Mautic, which is working properly.

I did a test and I see the IP address listed in Mautic but for some reason the last page hits it’s recording is back May even though I’m visiting my website with the same IP address.

I also thought that once an IP address gets confirmed to a contact user; shouldn’t the contact page hit history merge with the new contact that was identified? This isn’t happening either because under the new contact it doesn’t show any of the old page hits from the IP address user.

Is anyone else experiencing this issue with “page hits” not being tracked?
