# Parse error: syntax error, unexpected '.', expecting '&' or variable

Hi Guys,
I’ve tried to complete manual Mautic installation through my site’s Cpanel (HostGator) and got this error:
Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ‘.’, expecting ‘&’ or variable (T\_VARIABLE) in /home2/alexkhr/public\_html/mautic/app/bundles/CoreBundle/ErrorHandler/ErrorHandler.php on line 584
I checked the point where this message is pointing but not quite sure what to do:
