# Pass Mautic Cookie Value on pageview

I have a cookie called “visitortype” which is populated on my side and a contact field of the same name in Mautic.
Is there a way to grab the value of a cookie and pass it to mautic on every hit to update a contact field?
I’ve looked everywhere but can’t seem to find anything. Thanks!
