# Password reset usin PhpMyAdmin

I have a problem after update mautic, so then I re upload the old files and follow these steps [https://johnlinhart.com/blog/uh-oh-mautic-upgrade-was-not-successful](https://johnlinhart.com/blog/uh-oh-mautic-upgrade-was-not-successful), then I went to login page but my old password doesn’t work so I don’t know if I lost all the information so before to delete and reintall everything I would like to login but the reset password doesn’t work my user name is admin and when I write admin mautic said there is no user with that name … ![:(]( ":(")
