# Pausing campaign during holiday season

My PHP version is: 7.4.28  
My Database type and version is: 8.0.28-19

**Your problem**

Hello all,

I want to pause our campaign during the holidays, from this week (Dec. 21st) until after the new year (Jan. 9th). I have not been able to find any solution. I am comfortable to apply a solution via UI, commandline, or directly on the database (ideally not this!).

If I just pause the cron job for sending emails, the campaign is still progresses, and when I resume, emails and their follow-ups can be sent at the same time, right? So this is really not a solution.

Can you think of anyway to do this?
