# "please wait" ... can't enter my email setting or other configuration items

**Your software**  
_My PHP version is_ : 7.3.27  
\*MariaDB version: 10.3.28  
\*I am: Installing  
\*installing via : Web  
_These errors are showing in the installer_ : none  
_These errors are showing in the Mautic log_ : none

**Your problem**

I’ve installed 3.2 and am trying to configure it.

In email settings I was able to verify that it connected to Amazon SES API… however, whenever I try to save anything (the Amazon info, my email address, etc), I get a “please wait” message that never disappears from the screen.

I am also running into a problem where Amazon is unable to verify the bounce mailer I created (I guess because it cannot connect to the url where mautic is installed?).

I’ve triple-checked everything, and cannot find the problem anywhere.

I’m not running wordpress on this domain, so there’s no incompatibility issues there.

_Steps I have tried to fix the problem_ :

I’ve refreshed screens. I’ve logged in and out. I’ve checked log for error messages (none exist).

I’m wondering if it’s a compatibility issue with SSL (because of Amazon not being able to connect to the url) but have no idea how to fix it if that’s the case.
