# Points - can they be applied retrospectively?

I’ve set up some point actions, for example for downloading an asset, or for visiting specific URLs on my site.
Can Mautic be told to apply these point actions to those contacts who were on my list _prior_ to the creation of these point actions? i.e. can point actions be applied retrospectively?
Mautic already has the data on each contact that would be necessary to do this, so imagine it’s possible.
