# Points (Manage Actions) do not update

Hi there,  
  
  
  
Completely new to mautic so my apologies if i do something wrong.  
  
I am coming from paid marketing platforms (active campaign) so i do have some experience.  
  
I have created a form with :  
  
email  
  
first name  
  
last name  
  
(fields are connected with the corresponding field)  
  
  
  
i have set a point manage action rule that who ever submits the form to increase points by 100.  
  
but this is not happening.  
  
all data (name last name) from form are correctly updated but not the points.  
  
  
  
any idea???

UPDATE:  
I noticed that when creating a standalone form and adding actions directly in the form, points work correctly. Is this the only way to add points??  
if yes, can someone please advice why when going to sidebar menu: Points------\>Manage Actions and edit there an action points do not work??

After aetting the cron jobs the problem was solved.
