# Post and and work with returned data

Hi,

I was wondering if currently there’s any way for when a form is submitted to make a post to a third party website (like a webhook) and then work with the value that it was returned… for example…

Example Steps

1. The user submits the form
2. Using the data submitted we send the data to other website that will return an account id
3. We store the returned value in a custom field in the contact that was previously created in mautic
4. We send an email to the new contact

If this is not possible, what would be the best approach to make it happen?
