# Problem configuring the email settings

Hello everyone

**Your software**  
My Mautic version is: 4  
My PHP version is: 8.1  
My Database type and version is: 10.11.2-MariaDB-1

**Your problem**  
I installed Mautic on a VPS very well, but now I’m having a problem configuring the email settings.

Here is the configuration made:

These errors are showing when i try to send email test:

Noted that I am able to use this email address.  
I tried other addresses such as Gmail, but it still doesn’t work, it gives me the same error.

Please help me.
