**Your software**
My Mautic version is: 4

**Your problem**
My problem is:
First of all i am a beginner. Mautic is running without any Problems so far. I use a wordpress site to track with mautic. I do use the mautic plugin for wordpress and want to track Wordpress users when they are logged in. This also works but with one strange behaviour:

When i have different Wordpress users (different names, ID and email) with the same IP always the last one logged in user information gets updated with the new logged in one. In Mautic i also have the email address and the Wordpress User ID (which i pass sucessfully to Mautic) as the identifiying fields. Anonymize the IP-Adress is on.

This is what i had expected Mautic behaves:
Check the IP-Address, check Email, check Wordpress ID if all fits to one user update this user if not create a new one.
But it seems mautic is just checking the ip adresses, thats it.

Steps I have tried to fix the problem:
I have found a lot of threads in this forum about this Problem not only related to the wordpress plugin. The author from the wordpress plugin said i should ask in the forum. Here are some threads but they are old and i can´t believe this Problem is new to Mautic:

I am using mtc.js tracking. I find i end up with a lot of duplicates. First, I end up with duplicate IP addresses: m\> select \* from ip\_addresses where id in ('159','204','30183','60190','60191'); +-------+---------------+----------------+ | id | ip\_address | ip\_details | …

Hope someone can help my here.
