**Your problem**  
_My problem is_ : The instalation frozen on clearing cache. Then I had 403 forbidden when I’ve tried to log into Mautic. I’ve changed the .htacces file and put a comments on this line of code:

Then I was able to log in. Then I’ve discovered two problems for now:

1. I can’t edit any email that I have created before update. I can create new ones.
2. On the page with API Credentials I see this sentence:

## The site is currently offline due to encountering an error. If the problem persists, please contact the system administrator.

#### System administrators, check server logs for errors.

_Steps I have tried to fix the problem_ :

1. Changed .htacces file
2. Cleared cache (deleted all folder inside “var/cache”)

If you have backup, please restore to a working instance from it and try upgrading via CLI.

Hi @robomanus

Have you asked your hosting provider if they do daily backups? 🤔

If they do, you can use the one before the problem with your Mautic to restore the installation.

Hey,

I’ve made a backup succesfully and now everything in Mautic is working fine. But the cron jobs are wasted. When updateting campaings I get this message from cron job:

Create full backup of source code and try reinstalling php dependencies and report back if you still have issues.
