# Remote Assets Aren't Saving

I am having a problem with Remote Assets and I wonder if anyone else has had experience…  
  
  
  
Using v1.2.2.  
  
  
  
If I try to add a remote asset, it doesn’t save. I chose Storage Location: Remote, entered a URL, and added a ttile. When I click Save & Close for Apply, the buttons grey out and nothing happens. When I go back to the Assets list, the asset is not there.  
  
  
  
Local Assets work.

Could you check the Mautic logs (app/logs folder) and server logs for an error message which could shed some more light into the issue?

For some reason, I didn’t even think to look at the logs. Turns out, cURL needs to be installed/enabled.

Thanks for pointing me in the right direction.
