# Removing custom plugins

I wish to remove the [Mautic\_CRM](https://github.com/redmantech/Mautic_CRM) plugin from our installation.  
  
  
  
I have found [this thread](https://www.mautic.org/community/index.php/4889-how-to-properly-remove-a-plugin/0) but our **/app/config/local.php** file does not seem to include any reference to the plugin.  
  
  
  
What is the correct procedure to remove a plugin like this?

Hi Mxyzptlkfishstix,

Thanks for your reply. I removed the CustomCrmBundle from the plugins directory and then removed the contents of the app/cache directory and the plugin was removed.
