**Your software** My Mautic version is: 4.4.3 My PHP version is: 7.4.29 My Database type and version is: 10.2.44-MariaDB **Your problem** My problem is: What must one do to turn VERP off? In the past, when sending out an e-mail, all the bounces will be found in the Inbox of the [bounces@example.com](mailto:bounces@example.com) mailbox. I will then download the bounces via Thunderbird and manually mark the e-mails with: Do Not Contact in Mautic. It worked OK for me. Recently, I have configured Mautic to check the Inbox for the [bounces@example.com](mailto:bounces@example.com) mailbox. What I now noticed, which was not there before, is that each bounced e-mail will have a form similar to [bounces+bounce\_6305e88e52d5b481370187@example.com](mailto:bounces+bounce_6305e88e52d5b481370187@example.com) and a folder will be created using the local part of the bounced e-mail, namely: bounces+bounce\_6305e88e52d5b481370187 Thus, if there are 50 bounces, then there are 50 folders.
