# Response code pass-through for form submissions

**My idea is:**  
Standalone forms have an action “Post results to another form” which may serve other functions but also work to send webhooks with submitted data. A webhook can return a variety of responses, including data and redirect information. Unfortunately this response information is lost and Mautic only has the capability to send a failure notification email. **If this response data could be passed back to the contact’s browser, this would be a super useful feature!**

**I think these groups of people would benefit from this idea:**  
Anyone using API, automation, etc. with form submitted data from website/Mautic.

**Why I think they would benefit from this idea:**  
This would give Mautic users the ability to control data passed back to the contact’s browser, including redirects after form submission.

**Any code or resources to support this idea:**  
This is over my head TBH but it seems like a clear value-add.
