# Segment section not showing when creating an email

hey, Mautic team while creating an email in mautic i am only able to see the category section the segment section is not showing what to do?

@vikumar welcome to the community! I have created a separate topic as your request was not related to the issue where you replied. Hopefully someone will be able to help but please add:

- Your Mautic version
- Your PHP version
- Steps you have taken to troubleshoot (eg have you cleared the Mautic cache, run `bin/console m:a:g` to regenerate the JS assets, cleared your browser cache, checked in an incognito window)
